Happiness remembered.We woke up before eight; your brother's arrival home from work. You roll over, look at me with sleep-filled eyes... "You're wearing my t-shirt." It's a combination: statement and question. I smile, then laugh at your confusion. You go downstairs, I hear you talking: "...don't worry mum, I didn't sex her..." in that jokey way of yours. Your brother's getting out of the bath. He on the stairs, just a towel round his waist. I leave your room to go downstairs and brush my teeth - just your too-big t-shirt over my little denim skirt. We meet on the stairs, your brother and I. That hesitating uncomfortableness; he deleHappiness remembered.
